About Me

My name is Anthony Evangelista. I'm currently a sophomore at High Point University in High Point, North Carolina. I am a Sports Media Major, with a minor in Sales. As someone who has been enamored with being in front of a microphone my entire life, my goal in life to is become a professional sports anchor or broadcaster. As a member of HPU SportsLink, I have had the pleasure of doing play-by-play and color commentary for High Point's Division One sports teams on ESPN+ for over a year. I am from Eastchester, New York, where I have resided all my life with my parents and older brother. My favorite sports teams are (unfortunately) the Jets, the Knicks, the Mets and the Rangers, all of which have not seen much glory any time recently. I founded and run a podcast called Big Apple Sports Media, which centers around all New York sports teams in the four major sports.
